In accordance with ASTM F-2792, vat photo polymerization, n—an additive manufacturing process in which liquid photopolymer in a vat is selectively cured by light-activated polymerization.

There are two ways to “activate” the photo polymerization reaction; one is by using a laser to “draw” the object’s layers. This is called pure stereo lithography (SLA). Another is by projecting the entire slice of the object using a digital light projector. This process is called digital light processing (DLP).

The DLP 3D printer available in UTAMLab is ready to provide the service.
